Responsible for leading the Interco and Subcontract Processing value streams, feeding into the site SIOP process, and site Master Production Scheduling to ensure on-time order fulfillment and realization of site revenue, cash, and inventory budgets.
This role of the Interco Planner/Buyer can be remote-based, coordinating with other site leaders and functions. Frequent travel will be required to support the Interco value stream, estimated at 25-50%, to support our Interco and subcontract partners and to visit the main site.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all HSE requirements related to the role and work towards a zero-harm culture.
- Ensure the Interco SIOP delivers accurate plans and the MPS provides demand profiles aligned with customer and business expectations, including OTIF, cashflow, revenue, and profit requirements.
- Champion continuous improvement with Interco partners using lean principles to improve delivery performance and forecast accuracy for cash, inventory, and revenue budgets.
- Travel to Interco and subcontract partner sites, delivering world-class standards of service and professionalism.
- Manage the Interco Master Production Schedule in MRP, update ERP, and provide accurate data for site SIOP processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments including CAMs, production engineering, production, quality, and logistics.
- Conduct material availability analysis for proposed schedule changes.
- Perform due diligence on all Interco and third-party suppliers to ensure capacity and capability meet customer requirements.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
Core Requirements
- Experience in Aerospace or a similar industry.
- Global and intercompany supply chain planning and/or procurement experience, particularly low-cost country sourcing.
- Extensive experience working in low-volume, high-product-mix, build-to-print, and design-to-spec environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills for win-win outcomes.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Experience in import/export compliance and management.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
- Task and achievement-oriented.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and able to professionally represent the business during site visits.
- Flexible and open-minded with a determination to succeed.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Formal qualification in Supply Chain Management or similar.
