Job Summary

We seek a Procurement Operations Manager for our Procurement/Supplier Quality department in Papendrecht. You will lead the Purchase-to-Pay process, overseeing supplier performance within wiring activities. Leading a team of operational buyers and supplier quality engineers, your focus will be on resource management, continuous improvement, people development, and supplier delivery performance. This role reports to the Site Director.

Job Responsibilities

As Procurement Operations Manager, your responsibilities include:

• Leading a team responsible for ensuring delivery aligned with operational performance requirements across a spend of approximately £45m
• Managing team performance, development, and succession planning
• Applying supplier scheduling in line with production plans and maintaining accurate data in the MRP system
• Embedding standard procurement processes, conducting regular reviews and meetings
• Collaborating with other procurement teams to standardize processes
• Ensuring data accuracy in MRP/ERP systems
• Managing material availability and inventory levels
• Developing and implementing continuous improvement plans
• Maintaining internal customer relationships and stakeholder management

Job Qualifications

• BSc degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, or Science
• At least 10 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years in Procurement SCM or Production Management
• Experience with an international supply base
• Ability to build supplier relationships and understand supplier processes
• Proven leadership in developing performance excellence organizations
• Analytical, decisive, customer-focused, and sensitive to organizational dynamics
• Proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
