Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent unauthorised access and monitor alarms and CCTV systems.
• Conduct regular internal and external security patrols.
• Manage traffic control and enforce parking restrictions.
• Perform routine checks on security equipment and report issues.
• Lock and unlock premises as per assignment instructions.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and security records.
• Issue visitor and contractor passes in line with procedures.
• Provide safety guidance to staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Report hazards, accidents, and unsafe practices promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and investigate fire alarm activations

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Guard or Door Supervisor).
• Good IT skills for basic reporting and system checks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations.
• Five-year checkable employment history or acceptable documentation for gaps.
• No current criminal convictions.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Ability to uphold Securitas core values: Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
• Desirable: First Aid certification and Manual Handling Training.
