Position Summary:


  • Coach junior associates and help develop commercial knowledge across the team.

  • Stay informed on market trends competitor activity government updates and new openings.

  • Promote teamwork and a positive culture aligned with Marriotts core values and the Booking Office 1869 ethos.

  • Maintain accurate cash handling till operations and shift reports following hotel financial procedures.

  • Lead by example on the bar demonstrating excellent guest engagement upselling and brand storytelling.

  • Background in luxury or lifestyle hospitality with experience in a high-volume bar environment.

  • Proven track record in supervising or leading a team within a premium bar or cocktail venue.

  • Strong beverage knowledge including classic cocktails spirits wines and modern mixology trends.

  • Understanding of cost control stock management and basic P&L awareness.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

  • Passion for guest experience and hospitality excellence.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems with professionalism and confidence.

  • Competent in systems such as Micros Symphony or similar POS software.

  • Good knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene standards.

  • A proactive approach to training coaching and developing others.

  • Previous experience in a 5-star or luxury hotel environment is preferred.
