Our client are seeking a hands‑on, commercially minded Project Accountant to support a series of change initiatives across their business.
Working closely with the business, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping financial processes and controls that are efficient, scalable, and aligned with strategic growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated interim finance professional to make a real impact—helping strengthen their financial practices, improve decision‑making, and support innovation across this diverse organisation.
- Lead the review, design, and rollout of enhanced financial processes and internal controls
- Analyse and map existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, pain points, and opportunities for automation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure improvements meet operational needs.
- Provide financial insight to support commercial decisions—ensuring accurate margin reporting, revenue recognition, and cost allocation.
- Contribute to system/reporting changes including UAT, testing, and training.
- Help embed robust control frameworks aligned with compliance and audit requirements.
- Prepare clear project documentation, updates, and stakeholder communications.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA (qualified or part‑qualified).
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.
- Proven track record in financial transformation, project accounting, or process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, commercial finance, and cost analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across varied teams.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and practical problem solver.
