Job summary
A leading civil engineering firm in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced professional for quality assurance and technical support in road construction and drainage installation. Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and hold a valid CSCS card. Proficiency with GPS and total station equipment is preferred. This role ensures critical infrastructure work is executed to specifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience on civil engineering projects (roads and drainage essential).
- Proficient with GPS and total station equipment (Leica/Trimble preferred).
- Strong understanding of drainage systems, levels, and highway specifications.
Responsibilities
- Setting out for road construction and drainage installation.
- Quality assurance for infrastructure projects.
- Providing technical support during project execution.
Skills
Education
The role will involve setting out, quality assurance, and technical support for road construction and drainage installation. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working on highways or infrastructure projects with a focus on drainage and earthworks. Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
