Job summary
A main contractor specializing in residential projects is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer for their Bradford office. The successful candidate must have a relevant degree and at least 3 years of professional experience. Key responsibilities include preparing designs for new housing, conducting site visits, and performing structural inspections. This role offers a pathway towards chartered member status.
Qualifications

- Track record of producing structural designs and calculations.
- Desire to work towards ICE or I. Struct.E chartered member status.

Our client, a main contractor who specialise in new build residential projects across the UK are looking for a degree qualified structural engineer to join their team based in Bradford
As an structural engineer, your duties will include:
- Prepare structural designs and supporting calculations for new build housing projects
- Carry out site visits and attend design team meetings for ongoing projects
- Carry out structural inspections, report on defects and recommend remedial works
The successful candidate will have:
- A relevant degree (BSc or equivalent) + minimum 3 years professional experience, preferably in the residential sector
- A track record of producing structural designs and supporting calculations
- A desire to work towards ICE or I. Struct.E chartered member status
- A proven ability to problem solve, project manage and deliver client satisfaction
