About the Team

RPS a Tetra Tech company is recruiting Chartered Civil Engineers & Senior Civil Engineers to join our Highways and Transport team in Belfast. The post will be based in our Belfast office but duties may require travelling throughout the UK and Ireland.

What you will be doing
  • Project Management of civil engineering schemes, housing and building developments.
  • Management of workload and staff.
  • Liaising with other members of the consultancy design and PM team to deliver an effective service to our clients.
  • Potential travel between RPS offices in NI and UK for work package co‑ordination.
  • Business development and preparation of marketing submissions.
  • Preparing and checking detailed technical and non‑technical reports.
Who we are looking for
  • Demonstrable experience in Civil Engineering Projects and experience in Highways and Drainage.
  • Transportation experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of UK and ROI clients.
  • Use of packages such as AutoCAD and Civils 3D would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Project Management software (MSProject) would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Contract Administration / BoQs and NEC 3/4 would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with clients and other professionals.
  • Good interpersonal skills, both on an individual and team level.
  • Good work ethic and willingness to deliver as part of a team.
  • A full driving licence.
Qualifications
  • An MEng/BEng or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering or similar, or equivalent.
  • Chartered Membership or near Chartered (ICE, IEI, CILT or equivalent) would be an advantage.
