An exciting opportunity has arisen for 1x instructor post in the ECU Education team, the team dedicated to providing ongoing support influencing future generations of HART operatives.
As part of the team, the post holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of a variety of ECU training including HART Modules 1 to 4, instructor courses and the delivery (on occasions) to other NHS staff and partner agencies.
ECU seeks dynamic and enthusiastic instructors with relevant and current training experience, those with the ability to share knowledge, coach individuals and ensure that each training session is patient focussed. The post holder will be passionate about delivering high quality and realistic clinical care in some of the most complex scenarios paramedics are likely to face. They must be physically fit to meet the demands of the role, ensuring training is delivered effectively and safely, often in inclement weather.
The NHS Resilience Emergency Capabilities Unit (ECU) Education Department provides training and support to Ambulance Trusts specialist interoperable capabilities.

As part of LAS, the ECU Education department looks to increase Ambulance Service preparedness for major and complex emergencies, through the provision of high-quality training and education aligned to the national risk register and current doctrine.
Working at the ECU Education Centre, located at the Defence CBRN Centre in Winterbourne Gunner, and other training locations around the country, you will deliver residential courses of up to six weeks duration. Accommodation is provided for those undertaking this unique role, where teamwork is at the very core.
