Job summary

A leading manufacturing company is seeking an IT Governance & Cybersecurity Coordinator to support compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will implement cybersecurity controls, conduct risk assessments, and support IT governance processes. A degree in Information Technology, along with certifications like ITIL and experience in cybersecurity are required. Collaboration with internal teams and third-party vendors is essential. This position is based in Wantage, UK.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in IT governance, cybersecurity, or compliance roles.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and SOX frameworks.
• Certifications such as ISO 27001 Foundation or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain the IT risk register.
• Support the execution of IT governance processes and reporting.
• Assist in maintaining the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Support the documentation and testing of IT General Controls for SOX compliance.
