A leading health service provider in Chesterfield is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide expert leadership within CAMHS. The role involves delivering assessments, engaging with multidisciplinary teams, and enhancing service quality. Ideal candidates will have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and experience with children and young people's mental health. The position offers a supportive environment and an opportunity to work in a beautiful location.
This post provides clinical and professional leadership to Clinical Psychologists within CAMHS. The post-holder will provide expert highly specialist psychological assessments, formulations and interventions overview for children and young people with the most complex needs in Core CAMHS. To provide highly specialist expert supervision advice and consultant to CAMHS clinicians. To provide expertise to the CAMHS clinical leadership team on the development of specialist evidence-based psychological therapy and work with partner agencies in the provision of mental health services. The post-holder will provide professional, high-level, and effective line management and clinical supervision structures to psychological professionals (primarily focused on Core CAMHS). To support the delivery of Care Unit leadership functions including but not limited to, governance, service development and workforce planning.

There will be some opportunities to carry out work at one of our other bases in the historic market town of Chesterfield: either at our main hospital on a greenfield site with abundant countryside and lovely views or our newer CAMHS base (where some therapy clinics are currently based) ideally located near Chesterfield train station and the town centre.
