A regional NHS healthcare provider in Chester is looking for a part-time Anticoagulant Clerk to join their small team. Working Part time: 15 hours per week
The Anticoagulant service has a vacancy for a Band 3, Anticoagulant Clerk.
Working as part of a small team, to co-ordinate and collate all patient information for the implementation and maintenance of the Anticoagulant service dosing programme.
The role will include liaising with patients, clinicians and healthcare workers using the telephone helpline service.
This is an excellent opportunity for people wanting to experience working within an NHS Anticoagulant Service.
To deal with telephone queries and log calls from patients, clinicians and other healthcare workers. Relay information regarding medication dosage, laboratory results and set protocols to patients and their carers.
To collate information required for the Anticoagulant dosing of patients for General Practice and Anticoagulant Clinic.
Use of IT systems to transfer patient information and INR sample details.
To organise appointments for patients.
To communicate with District Nurses.
To type letters for new patients seen in clinic.
