We have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Finance Assistant to support the existing team with ensuring the company's purchase ledger is run efficiently and accurately and that all financial processing duties are undertaken promptly and accurately.

• Communicating with relevant suppliers to process invoicing or payment queries
• Attaching the correct documentation to invoices and reconciling purchase orders to invoices received when required
• Posting invoices and credit notes and ensuring they're coded correctly in the system
• Preparing weekly payment run and ensure Senior Manager has approved spend.
• Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Dealing with external and internal queries by phone and email
• Implementing and maintaining robust financial Controls
• Ad-hoc projects and duties

• Previous experience in an AP role is desired but not essential
• Analytical skills
