At Kingstone Academy Trust we are seeking an experienced Academy Finance Manager to lead and manage the finances within our Trust. This hands‑on senior role requires strong strategic and financial expertise, as well as the ability to drive efficiency and help shape income strategy.
The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial functions of our schools, including financial processing, management accounts and annual budgeting; they will advise on and implement the day‑to‑day financial support that enables the schools to operate effectively and efficiently, allowing other members of the leadership team to focus on teaching, learning and business operations.
As a member of the Executive Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will work closely with Kingstone Academy Trust Central Team (CEO, Heads of School, Chief Operations Officer, Finance and HR teams), providing strategic leadership and operational direction to the Trust’s management of finance, resources and human resources.
The successful applicant will be highly organised with the ability to lead by example. Candidates must be driven, proactive and committed to the success of the Academy and to making a difference to young people’s lives. You will need to be motivated, have excellent communication and organisation skills, have a flexible and calm approach, with a sense of humour, and be able to respond to the needs of the Trust.
