A leading Rocket Propulsion Technology organization in Kidderminster is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on innovative projects in rocket propulsion technology. The role involves designing components from concept to production, collaborating closely with various teams. The position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £43,000 plus excellent benefits, with a 4-day on-site work week after probation.

We design, develop and manufacture solid propellant rocket motors for use in Defence & Security industry.
The successful candidate will be involved in projects from initial concept stage through to the issue of production drawings and work very closely with the Design Authority, Production Engineers and other Designers.
The design work involves pressure vessel design integrated with precision machined components in a wide variety of materials, both metallic and non-metallic, natural or synthetic.
Tooling design will include special purpose equipment used in all stages of the manufacture, assembly and testing of a solid propellant rocket motor.
