Office Based, Commutable from Devizes, Frome, Warminster, Bath, Malmesbury, Melksham, Swindon and surrounding areas

Are you an ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer looking for the opportunity to join a close knit team of experts, working in a niche industry where you can massively develop your skillset working on projects from cradle to grave and being continuously invested in throughout?

This company has almost 4 decades of experience providing bespoke and specialist manufacturing equipment to a variety of clients worldwide. They are an expert team of specialists designing and developing specialist equipment from conceptual design to installation.

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of cradle-to-grave design projects, creating custom machinery solutions tailored to client requirements. You will work closely with customers throughout the design process, ensuring their brief is fully understood and delivered to specification.

This position is ideal for a Mechanical Design Engineer or AutoCAD Technician seeking further technical development, increased responsibility, and the potential to move into future leadership roles.

The Role:
  • Using AutoCAD software, design and develop concepts through to their manufacture.
  • Produce assembly drawings and design machines to client specifications, liaising with clients to ensure fulfilment of the brief.
  • Working as part of a team and individually on projects.
The Person:
  • From a Mechanical Design or AutoCAD background
  • Comfortable working with customers to pitch, assess and develop briefs that can then be designed bespoke for the customer.
  • Full UK Driver's License
