A leading engineering supplier is seeking a Service Engineer to provide maintenance and repair on compressed air equipment across the Midlands. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical engineering with strong fault-finding skills. This role involves regular travel and commuting to Birmingham for parts collection. Full product training is provided, and a salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 is offered based on experience. Additional benefits include a company van and holiday entitlement.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading engineering supplier of electromechanical products and services.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Midlands.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a service background in engineering with demonstrable fault finding skills in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps, motors, steam turbines, rotating equipment or similar products. Full product training provided.
This role will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Midlands. The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators, compressed air filtration and other compressed air products.
Maintain, repair and install air compressed air and pneumatic equipment.
Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
Regular commute to the office in Birmingham for parts collection and liaise with various engineering departments.
