Job summary

A leading technology services firm is seeking a Station Systems Technician Level 4 to ensure maintenance of CCTV and communication systems across West London. The technician will carry out daily reactive and planned maintenance, ensuring faults are reported and resolved. Applicants should have relevant maintenance experience, a full UK driving license, and the ability to work day shifts from Monday to Friday. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily reactive maintenance activities across SISS and Telephony systems.
  • Conduct planned maintenance activities as defined by the Team Leader.
  • Report and fix station communication faults.

Job description

The successful Station Systems Technician Level 4 will be responsible for carrying out reactive and corrective maintenance activities on CCTV, CIS, PHP, PAVA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is to work Monday to Friday days and cover TOC stations across West London and along M3/M4. SISS is essential to ensuring the travelling public are correctly informed and safe as they commute across our customer's rail networks, our maintenance service is critical to functioning of these systems. Station Systems Maintenance Technician, what you'll do:

  • Daily reactive maintenance activities across SISS and Telephony systems (CCTV systems, IP Networks, Help Points, Screens, Public Address, CIS, PAVAand Wi‑Fi)
  • Daily, weekly, monthly and annual planned maintenance activities as defined by the Team Leader
  • Ensuring SISS assets are well maintained, and station communication faults are reported and fixed
  • Utilising field IT equipment to provide real‑time corrective and planned maintenance data
  • Provide detailed reports to enable further investigations of referred faults
  • Experience with previous role involving IP, CCTV, Access Control, PA, CIS knowledge or a telecoms/electrical background
  • Have maintenance experience on either CCTV, CIS, PAVA, PHP, Access Control or an electrical background
  • Experience of working with SLA‑driven maintenance contracts
  • An understanding of using ServiceNow or other IT systems for updating/closing jobs and reporting
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • The job holder will be required to work Monday to Friday days
