Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Maintenance Operative for a luxury student accommodation in Leeds. The role involves delivering a proactive maintenance service, ensuring swift responses to repair requests, and upholding high standards of customer service. Ideal candidates will have experience in plumbing, joinery, and basic electrical work, alongside familiarity with Health & Safety legislation. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. The position offers a full-time contract with competitive pay and responsibilities that include both reactive and planned maintenance duties.
Qualifications
- Experience in plumbing, joinery, and basic electrical tasks.
- Ownership of responsibilities with pride in work.
- Previous experience in student accommodation or similar environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and liaise with colleagues.
- Monitor contractors to ensure completion of work.
- Handle day-to-day reactive and preventative maintenance.
- Conduct regular building patrols for maintenance checks.
- Record maintenance issues in the logbook.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.
