A reputable beef processing company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Purchasing Officer to support day-to-day purchasing and inventory activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in purchasing and procurement, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities include managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and monitoring stock levels. This hands-on role thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the plant operates efficiently and meets its material needs.
Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you'll support the day-to-day purchasing and inventory activities of the processing plant. No two days are the same, and you'll play an important part in ensuring the plant has the materials and services it needs to operate efficiently.
We're seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our Processing Plant team. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly. Confident using computers, with experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.
