A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to ensure compliance across a variety of construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves developing management plans, overseeing monitoring activities, and coordinating with specialists. Candidates should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of UK environmental legislation. This position offers a mix of technical and hands-on involvement, supporting sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications
3-5 years' environmental experience within construction, civil engineering or consultancy.
Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and permitting processes.
Ensure full environmental compliance across construction and infrastructure projects.
Develop and maintain CEMPs, SWMPs and permit applications.
Oversee monitoring for air, water, noise and biodiversity.
Coordinate specialists including ecologists, archaeologists and subconsultants.
Analyse environmental data and produce accurate audit ready reports.
