Overview
The Clinical Healthcare Innovation Manager will be responsible for advancing our in‑country clinical strategy in line with (and not exclusive to) the NICE Implementation plan, as a resource in the Customer (both HCP and person with diabetes) Pathway, with the aim of increasing product adoption, usage and customer success with Omnipod therapy.
Responsibilities
- Innovate, direct and deliver on Insulet's offering for the NICE Implementation plan for HCL including partnership working with the NHS and other professional bodies.
- Evaluate Diabetes clinical care provision and tactically implement Insulet's value solutions, whilst leading on innovative methods of demonstrating value based solutions.
- Work cross‑functionally to design, pilot and launch solutions to assist with diabetes clinical service pathways.
- Partner with Key Opinion Leaders to capture high quality, successful diabetes care with the ability to showcase/demonstrate success, which can be replicated and implemented at scale to drive adoption of HCL therapies.
- Develop the Next‑level Pathway Tool – individualisation for Diabetes services.
- Work with the sales and clinical team in the region to build knowledge, drive clinical excellence and help to achieve increased uptake of Omnipod and achieve sales goals.
- Deliver education programmes for internal clinical and sales teams, to drive expertise and achieve a best‑in‑class service to our customers.
- Provide digital, virtual and face‑to‑face training in both group and individual settings.
- Create educational material and use the Veeva Medical Review (MLR) framework for approval of content – training will be provided.
- Promote the benefits of insulin pump therapy and sell the Omnipod Insulin Management System to providers, Key Opinion Leaders and product users.
- Collaborate with Sales Excellence, Clinical Teams, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and all functions across Insulet Europe to enhance patient training/HCP service and value offering.
- Drive consistency, standardisation and simplicity in all regional activity.
- Liaise with Global and international teams to share materials and learnings and replicate great practice across the region.
- Perform administrative duties and complete/turn in tasks on a timely basis.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Regular business travel within the region, including extensive travel for training events and field visits.
- Overnight travel and amount of air travel varies by monthly need (up to 50 %).
- Work environment will include home office, car, and the Regional Office in Paris, Munich, London – with additional visits to HCP offices and clinics.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the healthcare industry, ideally the med‑tech/diabetes field – a combination of sales and clinical would be an advantage.
- Prior industry/commercial experience essential.
- Knowledge and experience of the NHS, service delivery and current pathways.
- Fluent in English.
- Highly competent in using virtual communication computer systems (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, etc.).
- Professional and polished presentation skills – virtual and face‑to‑face.
- Strong interpersonal communications, both oral and written.
- Experience in service delivery, expansion, transformation change, lean sigma.
- Project management experience.
- Game‑changing and growth mindset.
- Self‑started, needs minimal direction; extremely flexible with good business acumen.
- Proficiency with computers, especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Veeva.
- Qualified and experienced in producing and delivering training programs, including face‑to‑face and virtual classroom training.
- Familiar with Learning Management Systems and Salesforce.com.
- Experience providing clinical education to Health Care Professionals.
- Ability to adapt training to learners’ differing learning styles.
