A leading vehicle dealership in Shropshire is seeking an experienced Level 3 qualified HGV Technician or LCV Technician. The position offers a competitive salary between £38,000 and £48,000 per year along with benefits like a pension scheme and training assistance. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient service delivery, diagnostics, and compliance with industry standards in a full-time, permanent role.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Perrys of Gobowen Ltd part of the Renault Truck Network - in Shropshire and Borders. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 qualified HGV Technician or Level 3 qualified LCV Technician to join our thriving and busy dealership.
- Shifts: 42/47 hour week; Alternate Saturdays. Extra payments for Saturday mornings, standby and call out for Renault 24/7.
- Ensure your work is carried out as efficiently as possible and you are following the Service Process Maps.
- Ensure you are fully briefed on job requirements and budgets per up-front job specifications.
- Provide diagnostic outcomes and accurately specify repair solutions.
- Ensure time recording procedures are complied with including correct use of codes as per productivity policy.
- Ensure fully specified jobs are given to CSR for invoicing.
- Significant experience of working as a Dealership Technician within the Commercial vehicle industry.
- Good knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT tester's manual.
- The application of Standard Times.
- Knowledge of the Service Process stages relevant to the role.
- An appreciation of our customers, the environment in which they operate and the direct impact we can have on their business.
- Technical product knowledge.
- City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent in Commercial Vehicle Technology - HGV or LCV.
- To be able to work in an organised & methodical manner ensuring that all daily tasks are completed.
- To be able to modify your approach in specific circumstances to ensure a positive outcome.
- To be able to understand & analyse technical issues & propose appropriate solutions.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
