Job summary

A UK healthcare provider is seeking a motivated Medicines Management Technician to enhance patient care in their Pharmacy department. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medicines, ensuring effective discharge planning, and optimizing medication use on wards. Candidates must hold a BTEC or NVQ level 3 in pharmacy services and be registered with GPhC as a pharmacy technician. Salary ranges from £27,485 to £37,796 per annum, pro rata, depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in a pharmacy or similar healthcare setting.
• May be required to lift heavy objects from time to time.
• Speak English to an appropriate standard relevant to their role.

Responsibilities

• Directly accountable to the Pharmacy Technician Team Manager.
• Support ward based services to an agreed range of patients.
• Provide Clinical technician support to existing Clinical Pharmacist Services.
• Administer medicines on wards.
