Job summary
A leading cable manufacturer in Eastleigh is seeking a Laboratory Jointing Technician to assist in high voltage projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork, with basic knowledge of jointing. This role involves conducting tests, maintaining the laboratory, and supporting engineers with cable projects. Responsibilities
- Assist high voltage cable jointers on XLPE and fluid filled cable projects.
- Set up tests with high voltage test engineers.
- Perform optical fibre jointing and testing.
- Help with general laboratory housekeeping.
- Assist in maintenance activities.
