A local government council in Wigan is seeking a PfA Life Coach to support young people with SEND. You will build meaningful relationships and provide guidance in key life areas. This role demands passion for equity and experience working with diverse youths. The council offers a supportive work environment with flexible arrangements.

Location: Wigan Life Centre South, College Avenue, Wigan, WN1 1NJ
Salary: Grade 6, £29,540 - £32,597 per annum.
Hours: 37 hours per week

Your role will involve creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with young people with SEND and their families. As a PfA Life Coach you will engage with young people from the age of 14 to 25, providing support in four areas of Preparing for Adulthood: Independence, Health and Wellbeing, Community Inclusion, Employment. You will help young people to identify their skills & talents, try new things, and achieve their goals. You will maintain strong relationships with young people, their families, and local organisations. You will support young people and their families to navigate different services and processes to support great outcomes.

You will be passionate about equity and inclusion and will have extensive experience working with diverse groups of young people.
