Food Service Assistant - Must have cooking experience

Location: Ranelagh Primary School Ipswich IP2 0AN

Hours: 10 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, term time only. Monday to Friday; 11:30am - 13:30pm. Pay: £12.21 Per Hour

• Assist food preparation with the head of kitchen, layout and display food for counter service (including prepared meals) and check temperatures; assist with dining room furniture layout if required.
• Assist in serving meals.
• Collect and dispose of waste food and materials.
• Wash-up or clean all items of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and equipment; clean the service area and dining room; put furniture away if required; report faults or defects to the Head of Kitchen in accordance with Vertas Catering policies.
