Job summary
A leading organization based in Cumbria seeks a proactive Financial Controller to oversee financial activities, lead the Finance Team, and ensure efficient financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an international business context. - Lead day-to-day financial activities and provide leadership to the Finance Team.
- Ensure accurate preparation of month-end accounts and VAT returns.
- Oversee year-end audit and balance sheet reconciliations.

Education
A leading Cumbria based organisation are looking to recruit a hands on and pro-active Financial Controller.
Reporting to the MD, you will head up the day to day financial activities of the business, providing leadership to the Finance Team and ensure accurate and efficient preparation of month end accounts, VAT returns, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accrurals and prepayments as well as the year end audit.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) and have at least 3 years experience in a similar role. You will have experience of international business processes and tax issue and experience of software implementation would be an advantage.
