A leading truck maintenance company in Bristol is seeking an HGV Technician for a full-time, permanent role. You will work in a team and be responsible for repairs, servicing, and diagnostics. The ideal candidate has full industry qualifications and an understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance. HGV Technician
- Week 1: Monday-Friday 07:00-15:30
- Week 2: Monday-Thursday 15:30-00:00, Friday 13:30-22:00
- Plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings paid at time & a half
Full time / Permanent role
Basic = GBP45,600 OTW = GBP50,000 Per Annum
My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a rotating shift. Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out repairs highlighted during initial inspections
- General servicing and MOT preparation
- Fault finding & diagnostics
- Updating all required paperwork/databases
- Hold full industry qualifications and have completed a recognized apprenticeship
- Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
- A commercial license is advantageous but not essential
- Ongoing training and development on new and emerging technology
