Salary: £80,000-90,000 base + package

Our client, leading UK supplier in the construction and manufacturing sector, has an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven and finance professional to join the business as their Head of Commercial & Finance.

In this position, you will play a critical role in steering the business toward continued profitability and operational excellence. As a trusted member of the senior management team, you’ll lead financial and commercial performance while overseeing procurement and ERP implementation initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead financial operations including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting
• Oversee commercial analysis, pricing strategy, and performance reviews to drive profitability
• Manage procurement functions, supplier contracts, and cost optimisation
• Drive ERP implementation and process improvements across departments
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities

Required skills:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or QBE with strong commercial finance experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Excellent communicator with the ability to challenge, influence, and support senior stakeholders
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, distribution, or plant hire sectors is a plus
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across finance, procurement, and commercial strategy
