The provision of first-class management information to inform decision making at both a service and corporate level, enhanced with insight and expertise, will help you build effective and trusted relationships with senior officers and members throughout the Council.
You should have in-depth experience in a senior financial manager role, preferably within local government or the public sector, experience of staff management at a senior level and a demonstrable track record of completed projects of an original and technically challenging nature, as well as a proven ability to lead transformation activity and manage organisational change and development within a financial/performance environment.
We very much look forward to receiving your application for this exciting role. If you would like an informal discussion on any aspect of the role or process please contact Paul Reilly, Service Manager - Finance (Deputy S151 Officer) via email (paul.reilly@sefton.gov.uk) to arrange a call.
