Cost Accountant
We have a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a dynamic, innovative, self-starting, and thorough individual with an Accounting or Financial background to assume the position of Cost Accountant in an integrative agency that works with three government oversites: OCFS, SED, and Federally funded aid. These unique programs are dedicated to addressing the needs of children who have gone through traumatic experiences in their lives.
The Cost Accountant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Department, including an Accountant, and is a member of the Finance Committee.
Job duties include:
Minimum Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or Master's Degree in Management Accounting or Finance
Certified Management Accountants (CMA) or Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) are preferred.
3-5 years experience in a non-profit environment
Minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience
Computer fluency in a variety of software applications
