Client Details

Our client is a well-established housing association with a significant finance operation. They are seeking a skilled finance professional to provide accurate, compliant, and insightful financial accounting support.

Description
  • Manage financial accounting activities related to component capitalisation and fixed assets.
  • Support the statutory accounts production process, including reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Deliver professional and customer-focused finance services across the organisation.
  • Play a vital role in the transition to FRS102 and maintain compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Trace transactions from management information systems to accounting systems and vice versa.
  • Present complex financial information and provide clear financial advice to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Support accurate reporting and ensure all records withstand scrutiny.
Profile
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or qualified by experience.
  • Experience in social housing finance and component accounting.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with an inquisitive and analytical mindset.
