Job summary
A leading financial services provider in Hereford is looking for a finance professional to manage rebate calculations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be part qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW or AAT with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and experience in finance or accounting. This is an onsite position offering a salary between £30,000 and £35,000.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting.
- Broad experience within a finance or accounting environment.
- Ability to manage rebate calculation processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver rebate calculation and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date rebate reserves.
- Oversee allocation of customer rebate payments.
Skills
Education
We are working with a well-established and highly regarded business that is investing in strengthening its financial framework to promote consistent, accurate, and high-quality reporting across all areas of the business.
- Manage and deliver rebate calculation and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure rebate reserves are accurate, up to date, and maintained at the appropriate level.
- Oversee the correct allocation and ageing of customer rebate payments.
- Partner with regional finance teams to maintain consistent and accurate reserve reporting.
- Support process improvements and promote financial accuracy across all related activities.
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW or AAT qualified.
- Broad experience within a finance or accounting environment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex account reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and collaboration skills.
£30,000 - £35,000
