As Production Manager you will be responsible for leadership & management across all operations and contribute to the senior leadership team. The Individual
As Production Manager the ideal candidate would have experience in the Timber Production / Timber Sawmilling or Manufacturing sector and be experienced in leading Operations Teams in a senior leadership role. You will be ambitious and enthusiastic, and you will be able to lead and develop your teams to be able to deliver the business targets across both operations. You will be driven by new ideas and always strive to bring innovation to the business.
Job Duties & Responsibilities as Production Manager
- Monitor production performance and continually look to improve KPI’s.
- Develop and execute continual improvements across all operations.
- Lead, develop and coach your teams.
- Continually develop the company brand and reputation & strengthen client relationship both existing & new
- Actively promote and prioritise a safe working environment.
- Set production budget to maximise return for the business.
- Work closely with your Team in ensuring that production schedules forecast maximise sales, yield, and profit.
- Report on overall performances across all operation at the monthly Senior Management Meetings
