About the Role: Excel Industrial is seeking a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join the team. This role involves ongoing repairs and modifications to the fleet, along with occasional larger fabrication projects. As a Fabricator / Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the fleet remains in top condition through expert welding, fabricating, and repairs.

• Fabricate steel components and weld steel and aluminium of varying thicknesses and quality.
• Perform repairs including grinding, welding, and cutting.
• Adhere to company Health and Safety standards and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Accurately complete all job cards, service reports, and inspection sheets.
• Follow parts order procedures, handle warranty claims, and manage exchange items.
• Meet customer requirements by delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Treat all customer and company vehicles, property, and workshop tools with care and attention at all times.

• Previous experience in repairing/fabricating truck bodies and trailers.
• Qualified and time-served as a welder fabricator.
• Essential: MIG Welding experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving licence.
