A leading manufacturing company in the North East is seeking an experienced Materials Planner for a 12-month temporary contract. You will manage materials to ensure the manufacturing plan is executed efficiently, working with multiple teams to overcome challenges. Ideal candidates will have A-Level or BTEC qualifications and experience with ERP systems, especially Oracle ASCP. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
We are looking for an experienced Materials Planner to cover a 12 month temporary contract in Newcastle
Responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the manufacturing plan. Works with the Master Production Scheduler and supply chain to translate the demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) across multiple time horizons in to physical orders and ensures they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.
The MRP Planner (d/f/m) is responsible for allocating, monitoring, and releasing demand to make sure that material is available to meet the Production Schedule and Customer deliverables. The role will be part our Manufacturing Planning Team. This role will oversee and manage the material availability for our manufacturing facility; identify any potential risks and mitigate any production downtime.
