Railway Maintenance Planning Specialist

A leading rail technology firm in York is seeking a Manufacturing Production Planner responsible for managing the maintenance plan to maximize train availability. You will coordinate between customers and internal teams, prioritize maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with KPIs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in maintenance planning, knowledge of railway operations, and familiarity with maintenance management systems like SAP. This position offers a permanent contract with a competitive salary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of maintenance planning, scheduling and production.
- Sound knowledge of railway operations and compliance to railway rules and regulations.
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to think quickly.
Responsabilités
- Deliver the Maintenance Plan to achieve maximum train availability.
- Manage balanced unit rotation to maximise mileage across the fleets.
- Comply with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive improvement.
