Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking an Electrical Infrastructure Engineer to manage installation, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage electrical pylons and related telecoms infrastructure. The role demands expertise in compliance with safety regulations, strong teamwork, and the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions. Candidates should hold NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical Engineering and possess excellent fault-finding skills.
Qualifications
- Experience working on overhead lines or utility infrastructure.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Climbing certification is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain high-voltage and low-voltage equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical and telecoms equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults safely.
