Infrastructure Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and improve client IT environments, lead technical projects, and act as a senior escalation point. If you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and working with modern cloud and datacentre tech, this role offers exactly that.

The Role

• Design, deploy and support on-prem, cloud and hybrid infrastructures
• Manage servers, networking, storage and virtualisation (Hyper‑V)
• Support Azure, M365, private datacentre environments
• Oversee backup & DR solutions (Datto, Veeam)
• Lead upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure projects
• Act as Tier 3 escalation for complex issues
• Maintain documentation and contribute to security compliance

On-call rota participation is required once established (with allowance).

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in IT support or service desk (MSP experience ideal)
• Strong Windows Server, Hyper‑V and networking skills
• Azure / Entra / M365 admin experience
• Good understanding of security best practice
• PowerShell scripting and SAN / NAS knowledge
• Excellent communication + full UK driving licence
