Job summary
A temporary staffing company is seeking a Sample Preparation Laboratory Assistant in Deeside. The role involves lifting heavy samples, preparation and disposal of them, and requires motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Suitable candidates should ideally possess A level Chemistry qualifications or equivalent experience in a production setting. Own transport is preferable due to site accessibility.

- Picking and shifting samples up to 25kg.
- Finding and delivering samples.
- Preparation and disposal of samples.

Education
Role: Sample Preparation Laboratory Assistant.
Type: Temporary contract (up to Christmas) with potential to extend depending on workload.
Location: Deeside.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8-4pm.
- Picking and shifting samples (these can be up to 25kg; comfortable lifting and shifting this weight).
- Finding and delivering samples.
- Preparation of samples.
- Disposal of samples.
- A science background is desirable but not essential.
- If you do not have A level (or higher) Chemistry qualifications, experience of working in a fast-paced, production environment is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet throughout the shift.
- Ideally, own transport as it can be difficult to get to site.
- Motivated and hardworking.
- Excellent experience to put on your CV to show you have worked in an industrial setting.
