A temporary staffing company is seeking a Sample Preparation Laboratory Assistant in Deeside. The role involves lifting heavy samples, preparation and disposal of them, and requires motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Overview

Role: Sample Preparation Laboratory Assistant.

Type: Temporary contract (up to Christmas) with potential to extend depending on workload.

Location: Deeside.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8-4pm.

Responsibilities

• Picking and shifting samples (these can be up to 25kg; comfortable lifting and shifting this weight).
• Finding and delivering samples.
• Preparation of samples.
• Disposal of samples.

Qualifications

• A science background is desirable but not essential.
• If you do not have A level (or higher) Chemistry qualifications, experience of working in a fast-paced, production environment is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be on your feet throughout the shift.
• Ideally, own transport as it can be difficult to get to site.
• Motivated and hardworking.
• Excellent experience to put on your CV to show you have worked in an industrial setting.
