A leading logistics company based in Bedford is seeking Reach Truck Drivers/Warehouse Operatives for PM shifts. Candidates must have a valid reach truck licence and experience in warehouse operations. Responsibilities include picking and packing goods for dispatch, ensuring smooth operations, and adhering to health and safety protocols. This position offers competitive pay and the potential for a temp to perm arrangement.
Qualificações
- Must have current, valid reach truck licence.
- Proven working experience as a warehouse operative.
- Manual handling ability to lift heavy objects up to 25kg.
Responsabilidades
- Picking, packing and loading of goods, ready for dispatch.
- Ensuring the smooth dispatch & accurate loading of vehicles.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse team following health and safety protocols.
Conhecimentos
Our client is experiencing a significant growth period and are welcoming applications from candidates who are looking to join their team on a temp to perm basis. Candidates must have valid in-date Reach Truck Forklift or VNA licences and be flexible to work shifts based on 5 over 7 days including weekends. Great rates of pay and overtime available subject to availability.
- Picking, packing and loading of goods, ready for dispatch
- Ensuring the smooth dispatch & accurate and timely loading of vehicles
- Report any issues
- Follow quality service standards & comply with company procedures & policies
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team, following health and safety protocol at all times
- Must have current, valid reach truck licence
- Proven working experience as a warehouse operative
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems
- Good organisational & time management skills
- Manual Handling/Ability to lift heavy objects up to 25kg
- Strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
- IT literate
- Attention to detail
