Hurworth School are looking to recruit an outstanding Science Teacher to join our Teaching team! We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.

The school is registered to provide education to up to 80 students aged between 5 and 19 years. We have a discrete primary provision and separate middle and upper schools.

Organisation – You will have experience of organising, planning and teaching well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of the pupils as well as monitoring each students learning needs, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of each pupil.

Attentive – No two tasks will be the same so being attentive to understand the needs of the young people we support is vital
