Job summary

A leading construction services firm is seeking an Estimator to join their team in Rotherham. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the construction industry, preferably in timber frame. Responsibilities include reading drawings, presenting quotes, and assisting with contracts. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is essential. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a supportive family-run business focused on delivering new build housing solutions. Competitive salary of £40,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Solid background in the construction industry – timber frame would be beneficial.
• Experience within different software packages such as MS Office & AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills across all levels both internally & externally.
• Can demonstrate basic design skills within timber (truss, joist or frame) – not essential.
• Willing to work within a close knit team and on your own.
