- Shape and implement the organisation's financial direction in line with its broader strategic priorities.
- Lead financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting and long-range modelling.
- Provide clear, well-grounded financial advice to the CFO, CEO and the senior leadership team.
- Ensure strong governance through effective controls, policies and compliance with charity finance regulations, SORP and the Companies Act.
- Oversee statutory accounts, management reports, audits, pensions, taxation, treasury functions and reserves.
- Develop and inspire a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous growth.
- Contribute to commercial strategy by supporting income diversification and cost efficiency.
- Deliver financial due diligence and guidance for strategic projects, bids and partnership opportunities.
- Drive digital transformation across the finance function, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and impactful.
- Support the organisation's climate response by embedding sustainability into financial leadership and decision-making.
The role is hybrid with circa 2 days in the office based in Bromsgrove. The company, despite its size, has a real family feel and looks after its employees. You will have a team of your own to manage, reporting to the CFO.
