A leading international business based in Reading is seeking an experienced finance manager to oversee core financial functions, including tax, audit, and reporting. The successful candidate will have 10+ years in accounting, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a small finance team. They will be responsible for financial strategy, cash flow management, and stakeholder interactions. This role offers an excellent package and requires a fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.

This role involves managing core financial functions such as accounts payable / receivable, tax, audit, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to lead and develop a team. Key requirements for the position include : - Strong experience in tax compliance / planning- Expertise in financial controls / risk- Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting / cost control- Leadership and development of a small finance function- Financial strategy- Cashflow and treasury management- External stakeholder management, banks, auditors, etc
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar sized global business and be comfortable in a matrix structured environment reporting into the Group CFO and interaction with Global CEO.
