A prominent healthcare provider in London seeks a Programme Manager (Compliance) to manage governance arrangements and oversee capital projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to effectively manage relationships and drive project success. This role involves substantial budget control and the delivery of capital plans, requiring a collaborative approach within a dedicated team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager (Compliance) within the Capital Projects Team. The Programme Manager (Compliance) will be responsible for the successful day to day management of all programme governance arrangements and the interface between the Programme and hospitals Estates Team. Working under the direction of the Programme Director, you will ensure project governance systems are in place and ensure all project processes are followed, establish and oversee efficient project administrative systems aligning with all Trust policies and procedures so that we can deliver a compliant and professional project delivery service.
The Programme Manager (Compliance) will be heavily involved with supporting the Design Teams with Requests for Information and have a very close working relationship with the Hospital Impact Project Manager. They will be supervising internal and external advisers and specialists as required.
The Programme Manager will have delegated budget control of specific capital budgets as designated to each project or programme. This could be to the value of multiple millions of pounds, over multiple years.
You will have highly effective interpersonal and communication skills and be able to influence, persuade and negotiate effectively at all levels, often in a challenging environment. A strong and demonstrable approach to project initiation, monitoring, contractual negotiation, customer service attitude and collaboration is key.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of capital programmes and projects as defined by the business needs.
The Programme Manager will be responsible for the successful day to day management and delivery of capital projects and or programme allocated to them. Workingunderthe direction of the Programme Director and or SRO, the post holder will develop new schemes from feasibility stage through to business plan, business case approval, detailed design, construction phase and handover to end users.
The Programme Manager will be responsible and accountable for the management of compliance across the entire programme. This will involve working closely with various programme team members (both internal and external).
The Programme Manager will have delegated budget control of specific capital budgets as designated to each project or programme. This could be to the value of multiple millions of pounds, over multiple years.
They will be responsible for the development of annual capital plans and monthly reporting on actual spend and full year forecasts. This will be done in close collaboration with the Capital Finance Team. They will also hold overall responsibility for the Project and Programme risks relating to their allocated portfolio.
