- Lead on quarterly VAT Returns and year-end accounting.

Mediaworks is an ambitious, award winning digital marketing agency with a small integrated finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance and partnering with an Assistant Management Accountant, this role allows you to take ownership of monthly reporting while providing actionable, value-adding insights that support decision-making across the organisation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced team environment and approaches challenges with a positive, can-do mindset. Experience with Business Central (formerly MS Navision) is highly desirable but not essential.
- Review and finalise monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and clear analysis
- Preparation of monthly analysis of income, expenditure and profitability
- Management of month end including journals, accruals, prepayments and overhead analysis
- Lead on delivery of monthly MI pack
- Work with finance and non-finance colleagues to determine accurate revenue recognition for new and existing projects
- Management of all balance sheet reconciliations, including particular attention to media buying and ad-spend per client
- Oversee posting of transactions into Microsoft Business Central, through creditors, debtors, bank and general ledger, to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Lead quarterly VAT Returns
- Supporting with the year-end accounting including liaising with auditors
- Continuously strive to improve existing processes
- Assisting with financial analysis
- Assisting the finance department with any ad-hoc duties
