A key focus for KPMG's GCT team is to help multinational groups and financial services clients manage their global tax compliance, reporting, and statutory accounting obligations through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation, and technology. Our Corporate Tax Compliance business consists of a dedicated team of specialists working with our technology platform and advisory teams to provide excellent service to a diverse client base, including global and large domestic compliance clients with complex tax profiles. We are growing quickly, making it an exciting time to join us.

We are now seeking a talented individual at Senior Manager level. The successful candidate will have deep technical knowledge, thrive in a dynamic environment, ensure excellent client service, and be supported by a strong leadership team.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Lead a portfolio of clients, ensuring tax computations are prepared to a high standard, timely, and submitted to HMRC within deadlines.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts, keeping them informed about developments in Corporate Tax that may affect their businesses, including new legislation.
3. Oversee team work, providing coaching and technical guidance during reviews.
4. Identify and resolve complex technical issues, reviewing analyses and involving specialists as needed.
5. Respond to client requests for technical advice, collaborating with KPMG specialist teams for coordinated service.
6. Build positive relationships within your team, across KPMG, and with clients.
7. Support clients with group reporting needs where applicable.
8. Lead a team, providing coaching, technical support, and managing performance and operations.
9. Follow KPMG's best practices and policies.
10. Enhance KPMG's reputation through quality work, knowledge, and experience.

Knowledge and Experience:

1. Extensive knowledge of Corporate Tax compliance and legislation, with a commitment to continuous technical development.
2. Knowledge of tax accounting standards (FRS 101, 102, IFRS).
3. Ability to analyze complex facts and discuss technical matters with clients and colleagues.
4. Curiosity and openness to new ideas and approaches.
5. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
6. Responsibility and accountability for delivering excellent client service.
7. High drive, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.

Global Compliance & Transformation (GCT) Team

Our GCT team helps clients manage global tax compliance, reporting, and statutory obligations through outsourcing, co-sourcing, transformation, and technology. We leverage expertise and technology to improve visibility, efficiency, and risk management, preparing groups for digital compliance with a sustainable, technology-enabled operating model.
